What a great first whole week of school! Our class is working so well together and are well into our learning! Parents- please look in your child's Friday Folder this week. You will find important information regarding multiplication facts. Knowing these facts automatically will help your child tremendously with math this year!
If you have not already done so, please send in $1 for our Genius Hour Binders.

Van Arsdale's annual school PTSA Fundraiser has started! Your child received all of the fundraising materials Thursday. We are asking for each student to try to sell at least one item to help us reach our fundraising goal. We have the best PTSA in the state! With the earnings from this fundraiser, they provide incredible amounts of support to our school to help the success of all of our students.
Orders will be due SEPTEMBER 10th!

GOAL: I understand that failure is an important part of my success.
TASK: Think about an adult that you know personally that you consider to be successful at something. Has this person ever failed at anything? How did they learn from their failures? Schedule a time to interview this person. Use the Interview Script and Note Taking Sheet during the interview to gather the information you need. Then, use the Interview Summary sheet to write a summary of the conversation. This will be due on THURSDAY!
