Reading: This week we focused on key features of non-fiction text and were able to complete our features flip book. This will come in very handy as we begin to write our biographies.
Math: We continued with our measurement unit this week. We focused on customary units of measurement, area, and perimeter.
Writing: The students have continued to work on their Biographies. They are making great progress! This week we concentrated on beautiful language and how it can be incorporated into our Biographies.
During this upcoming week, the entire 4th grade will be taking the state CMAS test. This is a standardized state assessment which assesses student's knowledge of Social Studies concepts. We will take the tests Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday beginning at 10:00am-12:00pm. I know that the students are going to work hard and do their best!
