Happy February! This year is just flying by!
**A few students in our class have asked to bring in ebooks for reading during the day. I love my own Kindle and certainly appreciate what they can do for the enjoyment of reading. As a class, we have decided that ebooks may be brought to class. We came up with the following guidlines:
1. Ebooks are for reading purposes ONLY.
2. Before bringing any ebook to school, students must ask their parents first.
3. Once at school, students are 100% responsible for the care of their ebook.

**4th Grade will be having our Parent and Teacher Conferences during the week of March 9th. You will be able to schedule your time through Sign-Up Genius. I will be sending out the link for this in the next week or so!
FEBRUARY
1st: Spelling Bee
7th: PTSA Parent and Child Dance
11th: Class Pictures
13th: Valentine's Day Party
17th: President's Day NO SCHOOL
26th: Early Release 1:00
28th: Talent Show

If students wish to bring in valentines greetings, they must bring in a valentine for each member of our class. A list of our classmate's names will be coming home this week. Students may create a valentine bag or box to bring to school on the 13th.
PTSA is sponsoring a project for Children's Hospital, "From Our Heart to Yours". During the Valentine's Day party we will be helping the class prepare craft kits for the patients at children's hospital. Each grade level will be preparing kits for the children at the hospital to enjoy during their stay. Our class will be assembling the materials, but will not make the projects. You can find information for this on this week's Friday Folder.
