Reading: We continued to learn about connections this week. We discussed how connections do not need to be "exact". Ask your student about this!
Math: We are having so much success with our multiplication unit! We were able to practice 2x2 digit this week. Give your student some challenge problems!
Writing: We began our poetry unit this week. Have your student talk to you about what poetry is and what kinds of poems they have been collecting in their journals.
Next Friday, we will be celebrating Halloween! The festivities will begin at 2:15 with our annual costume parade! We will then spend the reaminder of the day moving between all 3 fourth grade classrooms for some Halloween fun! We are still looking for volunteers to contribute some party goodies.
