300 x 250

Reading: We spent a lot of time this week focusing on how we can connect our reading to our writing. We were on the lookout for author's use of sensory detail and figurative language in the books that we are reading. Challenge your student to find examples of figurative language while reading at home!
Math: We have finished up our multiplication unit this week and will be taking the unit test on Monday. Have your student practice some multiplication facts this weekend to help them feel more confident for the test.
Writing: We learned about many types of figurative language this week (similes, metaphors, personification and alliteration). Ask your student to give you an example of each!
